R.I.P.

We are saddened by the sudden passing of a 44 year old mother in Sacramento today. She was found in her hotel room by an employee of the hotel who was in shock from her sudden death.

"I can't believe she's gone," the employee exclaimed. "Just last night she was making jokes about finding someone to dye her roots and about trying to climb behind the t.v. to get the remote control that slipped back there by mistake. She seemed fine!"

Authorities are still trying to determine the cause of death. Evidence is pointing more and more to her overburdened work schedule and prolonged absences from her family. Recent Facebook posts and emails to her friends this past week alluded to extreme levels of work-related financial stress and maternal guilt, a lethal combination when administered simultaneously.

It is unclear whether her unfortunate circumstances were premeditated on the part of her husband, but it is clear that his lack of regular employment was the primary motive. Whether or not his unemployment was voluntary will determine how the prosecution proceeds:

"It really depends on whether or not the husband intentionally coerced her into this horrific situation," the prosecutor responded. "We're talking about the difference between involuntary manslaughter and murder."

The victim is survived by her four year old boy/girl twins.
